Our legacy

In the past, our grandfathers’ durable, hard-wearing workers’ jackets were a source of pride for them. Kiplay Vintage is passionate about updating the work clothes produced in our workshops since 1921 for contemporary wardrobes. Inspired by Kiplay patterns from the time, some garments have been hand-darned just like in the old days.

Work trousers inspired by 1920s work clothes. With their slim fit, they are a classic staple of the vintage wardrobe. The blue colour is a nod to the “blue-collar” workers back in the day. Made in France out of: Moleskin 100% – Cotton 390g/m² Details:
  • Waistband with 2-button flap fastening
  • Button fly
  • 2 Italian pockets
  • 1 gusset pocket
  • 1 tape measure pocket
  • 1 piped pocket on the back with button fastening

Moleskin fabric, Made in France

As the fabric used in most of our garments, Moleskin has many remarkable characteristics. If this cloth is typically compared to American Denim, it’s because of its extreme durability on the one hand and its colour, which tends to be indigo blue. That said, unlike Denim, Moleskin can come in a range of colours. White, black… Last but not least, it has the appearance of shorn velvet.
